Our partners are vital to the work we do. We currently partner with 5 organisations in Australia which are OAGDS accredited, and through them we support more than 40 projects worldwide.
Partners For Equity - PFE
Partners For Equity (PFE) was established in 2015 to provide aid to communities (predominantly in developing countries) that are disadvantaged or in poverty. They enter into partnerships based on equality and mutual respect with non-government, community-based, local organisations to implement and sustain such aid. Dave Rickards is a founding member and a Director of PFE.
Rotary Australia Worldwide Service - RAWCS
Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) assists Rotary Clubs in Australia with the development and management of international community service projects. We have been working with many Rotary clubs and RAWCS projects since 2007. In particular, we support medical equipment programsmaternal and child health programs.
The Eye Surgeons’ Foundation - ESF
The Eye Surgeons’ Foundation is a medical eye specialists’ foundation, dedicated to restoring sight and preventing vision loss throughout Australasia. They represent more than 900 Australian and New Zealand medical eye specialists (ophthalmologists) who are passionate about giving future generations the best vision possible. We partner with ESF to provide access to cataract eye surgeries in populations in the developing world with a high backlog of people living with the condition.
Australian People for Health, Education and Development Abroad - APHEDA
APHEDA is the development arm of the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU). Their purpose is to assist men and women who have been disadvantaged through denial of labour and human rights, civil conflict and war. They have a rich 30 year history in both advocacy and direct grass roots support of projects in the developing world. We have partnered with them on numerous projects on the Thai-Myanmar border.
